Our Beliefs

Thanks for your interest in Rancho del Rey. We believe it’s not so much about us as people as it is about a person, the person of Jesus. Jesus burst on the scene two thousand years ago and radically changed human hearts and human society. We believe that Jesus is continually transforming us in four primary ways:

1. He transforms our relationship with God.
2. He transforms us in the way we live with our families.
3. He transforms us in the way we grow in our churches.
4. He transforms us in the way we interact and live in our communities.

This doesn’t mean we are perfect or have it all together, but that we follow a person who is perfect who has put it all together. The mission of Christianity throughout the ages has always been to “make disciples” of Jesus, that means, “get people to act like Jesus.” That is why our mission statement is “Live Jesus.” We believe there is no better thing to do with our lives than to spend them in following the man who brought God’s message to the earth.

As you take time to familiarize yourself with our web site and our church, feel free to ask questions, listen to our messages, and get involved in the community that God is raising up at Rancho del Rey. If we aren’t the right fit for you, that’s ok. There are lots of good churches in the area. If you need help finding one, we can help with that too. We have written out our mission statement below so that you can get a feel for the type of church we are. Remember, if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to let us know.
